Building materials and supplies

Where there is a vision there is a plan

The building materials and supplies we are raising support for are the foundation of the Storehouse Program. This is where the vision begins to take physical form. Every beam, every wall, every structure will be built with purpose, according to the vision and plan that has been laid out. We are not simply constructing a building. We are establishing a place of refuge, provision, and restoration. A place where people can come to receive food, shelter, care, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From the ground up, every component of the storehouse will be designed to serve those in need and to reflect the calling placed on this mission. With a clear vision plan and layout already in place, the next step is gathering the materials needed to bring it to life. Your support helps turn this blueprint into reality. Every contribution helps build a place that will impact lives, provide for communities, and stand as a lasting work for generations to come.

The Vision

Every material listed below is essential to building the Storehouse Program from the ground up. These resources will allow us to construct a place of refuge, provision, and restoration where people can receive food, shelter, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Your support helps turn this vision into a physical reality. Every contribution brings us one step closer to building the storehouse.

Supplies we need

The storehouse is the central structure of this mission. It is the place where food will be stored, resources will be protected, and operations will be carried out to serve those in need. The materials listed above, including a concrete foundation, steel building frame, granite flooring, metal roofing system, ceramic ducting, and limestone countertops, represent some of the primary structural components required. These are essential elements, but they are only a portion of what is needed to complete a fully functional and durable storehouse.

Constructing a building that can safely store food, regulate temperature, and operate long term requires many additional materials and systems working together. Beyond the main components already listed, there are numerous other supplies required to ensure the structure is secure, efficient, and built to last.

Some of the additional materials and supplies needed, along with estimated costs, include:

Insulation systems for temperature control: $10,000 to $40,000

Electrical wiring, panels, and lighting systems: $10,000 to $50,000

Plumbing materials and water line installation: $5,000 to $25,000

Ventilation systems and air circulation components: $8,000 to $30,000

Interior wall framing and structural supports: $15,000 to $60,000

Doors, entry systems, and security reinforcements: $5,000 to $20,000

Windows and sealing systems: $5,000 to $15,000

Storage shelving, racks, and food organization systems: $10,000 to $40,000

Moisture barriers and waterproofing materials: $5,000 to $20,000

Fire safety systems and emergency equipment: $5,000 to $25,000

Exterior siding and weather protection materials: $10,000 to $40,000

These materials are necessary to ensure that the storehouse is not only built, but built correctly. Proper insulation, ventilation, and structural integrity are critical for preserving food, maintaining safe conditions, and allowing the building to function in all seasons, especially in climates like upstate New York where temperature control is essential.

For each location, the estimated cost for building materials and supplies ranges between $150,000 and $300,000 depending on size, quality, and environmental requirements. Because this initiative includes both a Texas location and an upstate New York location, the combined total needed for building materials alone is estimated between $300,000 and $600,000.

This investment goes beyond construction. It establishes a place where resources can be stored securely, where operations can run efficiently, and where people can come in times of need and find provision. Every material contributes to the strength, safety, and longevity of this structure.

Your support directly helps build these storehouses from the ground up. Through your giving, you are helping to create a lasting foundation where food is preserved, resources are protected, and lives can be impacted for years to come.
