The Storehouse Program

This vision is centered on creating physical storehouses that will serve as places of refuge, provision, and transformation for those in need.

Goals

The Storehouse Program is a mission of faith, compassion, and preparation led by A Helping Hand Foundation in Jesus Christ. This vision is centered on creating physical storehouses that will serve as places of refuge, provision, and transformation for those in need. We are working to establish these storehouses first in Texas and New York, with the goal of expanding across the United States and eventually reaching nations around the world. These locations will be more than food banks. They will be centers of hope where individuals and families can come to receive food, clothing, shelter, a shower, counseling, guidance, prayer, and most importantly the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each storehouse will provide a safe and welcoming environment for battered women, children, widows, and orphans. These will be places where people are not only cared for physically, but strengthened spiritually and guided toward a better way of living through the truth of God’s Word. This program also includes the development of farmland and the use of farming equipment to grow and store food. By doing this, we are preparing for times when food may become scarce. In times of famine or crisis, these storehouses will be ready to serve communities, ensuring that no one is left without help while also spreading the message of Jesus Christ. The Storehouse Program will stand as a hub where people can come to be fed both physically and spiritually. It is a place where the love of Jesus Christ is not only spoken, but demonstrated through action, compassion, and service. To bring this vision to life, we are raising funds to acquire land, build these storehouses, and obtain the necessary farming equipment. Every dollar given directly contributes to creating these places of refuge and provision. This is more than a project. It is a calling. It is a mission to serve, to prepare, and to reach lives with the Gospel. Every dollar counts toward building the storehouse and changing lives. Will you be a helping hand today? Coming Up Next

Building the Storehouse begins with vision, but it is brought to life through the resources that make it possible. Every item we are raising support for plays a direct role in creating places where people can come for food, shelter, care, and the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From land and building materials to farming equipment and essential supplies, each category represents a step toward establishing a place of refuge, provision, and restoration.

We invite you to explore the list below to see exactly what is needed to bring this mission forward. As you look through each category, you will see how every contribution, no matter the size, helps build something that will impact lives now and for generations to come.

Building the Vision: Land, Storehouses, and Places of Refuge

Our mission is to establish two fully functioning locations, one in Texas and one in upstate New York, where we can grow food, store essential resources, and provide a place of refuge for those in need. This is not just a project, it is a long term foundation for serving people through provision, stability, and care.

To bring this vision to life, we must first secure land that can support farming and building. In Texas, 10 acres of suitable farmland typically ranges from $40,000 to $80,000. In upstate New York, similar land ranges from $60,000 to $150,000 due to higher costs and regulations. These properties must be usable, accessible, and legally approved for agricultural and structural development.

Once land is secured, the next phase is constructing a storehouse that will serve as the center of operations. This structure will be used to store food, supplies, and resources while also supporting outreach efforts and providing shelter when needed. A properly built storehouse requires a strong foundation, structural materials, labor, utilities, and permits. The full cost to build a functional storehouse of approximately 3,000 to 5,000 square feet ranges from $250,000 to $500,000 in Texas and $300,000 to $600,000 in upstate New York. These figures include all necessary components such as foundation work, construction labor, electrical and plumbing systems, and required permits.

In total, the combined cost to acquire land and build out a complete, operational site is estimated between $290,000 and $580,000 in Texas, and between $360,000 and $750,000 in upstate New York. These numbers reflect what is required to do this properly, ensuring the land can produce, the structures are safe and durable, and the mission can operate without interruption.

Every contribution directly supports the development of these locations. This includes preparing the land for crops, building storage capacity for food and supplies, and creating a place where individuals and families can find help when they need it most. These are not temporary solutions, but long term investments that will continue to serve communities for years to come.

Your support helps turn this vision into a reality, establishing places where provision is grown, resources are stored, and people are cared for in times of need.
